Like Yoda, Milton Friedman Crusades Against the Dark Side
That's like saying if the IRS withholds part of my paycheck for income tax, and then taxes me again on whatever I save, I should come out ahead. Morons!

M3 Contraction: The Future Is Now
M3. Isn't that like using an abacus for inventory control? Or using an analog gas pump that only goes to $2? Ouch, the truth hurts.

Will Your Home Heating Bill Be Higher or Lower This Winter?
If global warming kicks in, and winter stays above 50 degrees. Otherwise, prices will increase drastically after mid September.

By the time something shows on the financial rags, it's already too late.
Do your own homework, and temper with a dose of common sense.

Chill my a**. Your talking nuclear winter if Fannie and Freddie fail.
The PPT is working overtime to keep the snow from falling during the present watch. Will they succeed?

What the Russian-Georgian War Means for the Euro
It's not so much a physical war that's the threat, but economic war thanks that is the bigger worry. The threat of the Arabs, China, or even Russia dumping large amounts of their dollars could cause a meltdown much worse than the sub prime fiasco.

Also, since we have very limited access to Central Asia, it's very difficult to muster troops in that region, even if we had the reserves to do so. Additionally, most of our armor is tied down in Iraq. So we would have to draw down our divisions in Germany, which doesn't look to be a very good strategic move at this time.

Forget $100 a Barrel - Oil Will Plummet to $30
We'll see $30/barrel oil about the time we see a true balanced budget.
This guy has spent to much time in the benzene. It costs min $60/barrel to bring current production online. And big oil didn't become big by selling at cost.

The Great Consumer Crash of 2009
It just makes me chuckle when someone mentions Reaganomics as the savior of capitalism. When that $3 trillion in debt comes due, the revisionist history writers will come out in force.

We can't raise taxes when the economy is bad, we can't raise taxes when the economy is good, and we can't cut spending. So lets just print more money, hide the tax increase and B.S. the middle class
      into thinking they're getting ahead.

Obama's Tax Plan - And Basic Honesty
How about balancing this article by showing how much more our dollar
will deflate under a McW administration with at least $2 trillion more debt by 2012? And without a tax increase to pay for our various wars (4 now possible). You either pays your front rent or your back rent, but you will pay either way! I'd rather pay my expenses up front.

So where are the NG filling stations? Clearly, another case where the "free market" doesn't find the best solution to current problems.
Let's make oil from shale and tar sands instead, and stick our kids with the mess.

Ditto. The fits going to hit the shan real quick. Ruskies are feeling their oats. The FEDs printing press is overheating. Waiting for $750 gold is like waiting for Condi and the Neocons to admit they don't know a damn thing about Russian geopolitics.
