J.P. Hannan is the author of the Global Media Report, examining worldwide media and entertainment trends and drawing on his 15+ years of experience in the television, radio and interactive media sectors. Mr. Hannan is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the governing body for the Emmy Awards. He is also a member of the Online News Association.

Mr. Hannan was previously CFO, Radio Division for Fortune 200 Lincoln National Corporation (NYSE:LNC), and earlier was COO/CFO as a principal with privately-held Lambert Television, Inc. He has been an advisor to a number of hedge funds and private equity groups as well as to many independent media companies throughout his career. He previously served on board of directors of Regent Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGCI), a 60 station radio group, and iBlast, Inc., a national wireless broadband media company. He is currently a director of Asian Media Group, LLC, a Pan-Asian television broadcasting company based in Los Angeles.

J.P. Hannan received his undergraduate degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and pursued post-graduate studies in International Business & Trade at Loyola Marymount University.
